The Self-Sufficient, Independent Employee

I am a positive personality type turned negative because I am an enabler. While my intentions are good, my actions of continued support do not force others to think for themselves. As a result, none of us are moving on.

Survival Tip

Tough love. You have to break the pattern; wean your colleagues off of you. I know it’s difficult because it goes against your true nature, but you need to stop helping. Just because you have the answers doesn’t mean you always have to make someone else’s life easier. Pick a start date and from that day forward refer all of your colleagues back to their boss for help and under no circumstances do you acquiesce. The Cube Creator

Entirely different subject today — fun and light!  While I was searching for a new “avatar” for myself, I stumbled upon an older but really important article on……The history of the cube!

It’s a bit dated (2006), but we now have a name to spit out in disgust as we sit in the “grind” every day pumping out crap. Check it out. Now we have someone to blame!!!
